Ken's place was just great - clean, cozy and comfortable. It's location one block from the beach is exceptional. It is also the best equipped for cooking that I have ever used. The cleaning supplies are great. We used bikes to get around the island. Ken provides an excellent book about what's available at the house, what the expectations are, what the local restaurants and activities are, etc. Ken was very friendly, kind and responsive. He got me out of a jam at one point with good grace. I highly recommend renting this space.

For the Gen Xers from the East Coast, this is the slice from the childhood summer visit at the shore. The furnishings, the location, the decor, not "shore shabby" but clean and bright, you'll find plenty of storage and a kitchen that is sized, and outfitted for any meal you wish to make- from a bushel of crabs from the docks at Viking Village to the Jersey corn you find at countless roadside stands on the way in, to fresh pasta you find in one of the many small locally owned shops that fill up the island. I grew up on Long Beach Island and parents had a house in Beach Haven for decades, this was the very first time I had spent any time staying north of Ship Bottom, the upside is that the north end of the island is super quiet and tranquil, seriously, this is the jersey shore NOBODY knows about, huge beaches with picture perfect dunes, easy access to the ocean front, bring your badges, and a simple way to get around, there are NOT numerous restaurants, but the scene makes it work

Ken is a very nice host with a nice location. Ken keeps the place clean, but the couches were pretty stained and the bureaus in the bedrooms smelled very musty. While accurately described as double beds, I mistakenly thought we were getting queen beds. Kitchen could have more plates/be better equipped. Air conditioning only in living room- on very humid days like we had it was not enough.

This was a clean place within walking distance from Viking village. Not an updated place but the price is right. No sheets or towels were included. Air B&B has always included this in other locations. My sister rented a couple streets down and had them. Beds were not so comfortable for me but nothing is like your own bed. Thanks Ken for your efforts to help out and also getting the hairdryer.

Ken has a beautiful spot here, we had a good time and would be glad to come again. Definitely recommend!
