This is the 2nd time staying. Easy check in and a wonderful breakfast cooked by Tracey! Super quite and really nice rooms. Just an overall Beautiful Inn.

Stayed here after a long day of hiking Katahdin and felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. They have a beautiful sitting space downstairs, the bedroom was exactly as pictured, and the hospitality was unmatched. Definitely recommend staying here and sticking around in the morning for the homemade breakfast. Great experience overall

I had an excellent stay at the Gather Inn. The home is absolutely gorgeous; the pictures don’t do it justice! Your room has everything you need and they make you feel right at home. Communication was flawless. I highly recommend staying here.

Our experience at Melanie’s place was consistent with everything that was advertised in the listing. The room and bathroom were both clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood was whisper quiet, providing a great night of sleep. Melanie reached out to us several weeks before our visit to inquire about dietary restrictions in order to prepare for the complimentary breakfast she advertised in the listing. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication between Melanie and Tracy, the innkeeper. My wife is vegan and will not eat meat or dairy. On the morning of our departure, we woke to the smell of fried bacon that accompanied the blueberry pancakes that Tracy had carefully prepared. My wife was very appreciative of Tracy’s efforts, but had to decline what I am sure was a delicious breakfast. This was an awkward situation that could have been avoided with better communication between Melanie and her staff person. To Tracy’s credit, she gracefully prepared a vegan breakfast for my wife.
