We had an incredible couple of nights stay in The Lakes at the Thorn pod. It's a really beautiful place to stay. The standard of finish on the pod is of the highest quality, and Lorna clearly has great taste in home decor too! It was immaculate and we felt right at home. Such a comfortable stay. And all the amenities we needed. Gorgeous bathroom and really well equipped kitchen. What I hadn't anticipated was just how amazing the location of the pod is, and the sheer beauty of the views from the patio. Waking up in the morning and enjoying breakfast in such a beautiful and peaceful spot, with nature all around you. Perfect! We spent a couple of days exploring areas around Ullswater, including Aira Force, which was absolutely stunning. Highly recommended.

A beautiful shepherds hut in a beautiful peaceful location. Every detail has been considered and it made staying a lovely relaxed experience

My son and his partner loved staying in the pod. They said it was really cosy with the underfloor heating and that the setting was beautiful. It was a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. They found Lorna’s guide book very useful for walks and recommendations of coffee shops etc.

Me and my partner stayed for long weekend and absolutely loved it. The pod stayed warmm on very cold nights and had everything we needed. Plenty of info on places to eat and local walks. The pod was perfect and clean with everything we needed. Both me and my partner want to boom for a return trip. Beautiful location couldnt have asked for a better weekend.. Thabk you. We will be recomending to everyone we know

Beautiful place to stay!!!! So peaceful and relaxing but with local attractions nearby! Would love to visit again!
