You will enter your space through a shared arctic entry, secured with a smart-lock key-pad to ensure easy and secure access at any hour. Your unit is completely separate from the owners'. The entrance to your unit is the door on the left, which will be secured by another locked door, accessed by a key pad. The owner's unit is accessed through a separate door in the entry way. Your laundry is not in-unit, but is reserved only for you (not shared with owner), but is accessed through the owner's garage, which is a shared space. The apartment is approximately 400 sq. ft., with a full bathroom and bedroom, a living room with twin sleeper sofa, dinette, and full kitchen that includes a microwave, sink, dishwasher, stove, and full-sized fridge. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cleaning supplies, appliances, and cooking basics, as well as a drip coffee pot and local beans. Everything in the apartment (besides bathroom floors) has been newly remodeled or updated, finished in January 2023. You will find the place comfortable, well-stocked, charming, and modern, with thoughtful touches throughout, including local artwork. The owners are both teachers and long-time residents of Anchorage (Madison was born and raised here). The family loves to welcome people to Alaska and share knowledge of local adventures, food, businesses, and activities. You will find a binder of detailed recommendations upon your arrival.
