Steven’s place is very good for a comfy basic stay in Anchorage. it’s centrally located and probably 5 to 10 minutes to shopping malls and supermarkets and restaurants. The bamboo mattresses are very comfortable. There is a Keurig and a microwave and a stove and a nice big fridge. Nice selection of coffee K-cups and tea. Nice little selection of books and plenty of little shelves in the bedroom as well as closet space and hangers for hanging your stuff. We did not see a thermostat but the house was at a very comfortable temperature. Cold water is cold and the hot water is piping hot and there is plenty of it. People that have Mobility issues might have a hard time getting down the stairs to the house. The microwave is on top of the stove so make sure you bring a tall friend /relative. The carpet seemed freshly shampooed but there was a very slight smell of dog… We only mention it in case somebody has a dog allergy. Very affordable and we would stay here again.

Our stay was to shop around Anchorage the day before a hospital appt and this place served perfect for our needs and the value.

We arrived close to midnight and the basement apartment was welcoming and cozy. It was clean, the pantry was stocked with Ramen, popcorn, coffee sugar and other basics. Linens were fresh and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was within a 10-15 drive to everything in Anchorage:) We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely airbnb. :)

Was a great affordable air bnb for many guests. Parking is a bit small but still had room for a long bed crew cab pick up and a small car.

For the price - this place was stellar. It is obviously a new nightly rental - some things could be improved - windows were really dirty, there wasn’t anywhere convenient to eat (so we ate on the couch), and there was some smell of what we assume was a former feline resident. There were tons of beds - sleeping room for at least 8 or more! If you are there with a huge group it would be cramped, but for three of us the place was HUGE. Plenty of parking for 2 cars. I was familiar with the neighborhood - so it wasn’t a surprise - fairly urban but Russian Jack Park was just a few blocks away. Despite the busy road, the place was pretty quiet at night We were in anchorage for a show and medical appointments and we would gladly stay here again!
