Starting off with the good. The location is nice and easy to find. Very nice views. Love the single level. The kitchen/dining/living room is one very large room. Plenty of seating. Great views right out the window. The bed rooms are all very large. And when the doors are closed the rooms are very quiet. The bathrooms are all decent sized and overall the house was clean. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with all the nessicary amenities you need to cook meals for a large group. Now the not so good. Parking is tricky the driveway is very loose sand you need an AWD or 4x4 vehicle. A small car will likely get stuck. There is no easy access to the beach. Just a very steep loose sand hill. There is no screens on the doors or windows so no sea breeze with out letting bugs in. The hot tub is clean but dated The deck area is rough. Bring your own trash bags and be prepared for lots of stairs for you loading/unloading.

This place is absolutely great. House is very well equipped, everything you need. We love the spaciousness of the house and the direct access to the beach. I will say that if you have senior members in your group that accessing the beach will literally be impossible though. My two parents did not get up and over the dune even one time as it was quite literally an impossibility. So I highly recommend this place for anyone with families and able bodies, but if you struggle with mobility issues or have a bad knee etc, you will not be walking on the beach. I also think that if you are less familiar with this area and if it's not peak season, you will find most everything closed, it took 25 minutes to get to a grocery store and dining was scarce. Again, this would not keep us from returning, the place was great, but I do think knowing how isolated the house is from the mainland would be beneficial in the description. Don't let this keep you from staying here though, it is absolutely lovely!

The magic of this rental was its proximity to the sea, sand & winds. The ambiance, decor, well stocked kitchen also made for a wonderful late winter getaway for my family. Will miss hearing the crashing waves all day ling!
