The views and proximity are 110%! Criticisms first; Though the house was a great size and and unique in its own design, it was equipped with some less than helpful furnishings. The cookware is pretty much shot, the beds were sort of 5/10 (though I still slept like a baby), I wouldn’t describe what I showed up to as “squeaky clean”, but it was still cleaned, the TVs didn’t really work (if that matters to you; doesn’t for me) … I go to the outer banks all the time, I guess what I’m trying to say is I’ve gotten slightly better values for about the same price. The good? This place has a water access and views like no other that I’ve stayed in on the sound. 10ft from the water, less than ten minutes walking to the ocean. This place is a paddlers dream (I’m an avid Stand Up Paddler, the back yard is a dream come true). I’d go back to this rental!

it has beautiful views absolutely beautiful. but vacass has a lot to work on schedule maintenance men during our stay n dirtness on the deck n shower. definitely not worth 2000. n when u show pictures they only refund 100 when the place isn't clean. n u pay over 200 for cleaning fee n 200 for service fee . I should have been refunded more bc if the dead bird in shower. I am very disappointed

My family had an amazing time at this listing. We went off season (March) and nearly everything by the house was closed (will open in April, all the signs said). However Kitty Hawk is about a 45 min drive north and Frisco is about 30 minutes south and they had everything that we needed! The house is incredibly hard to find, so do your research in advance! They didn't give clear instructions that it is a gravel "driveway" that is just a cut out between some brush that you have to maze through to find the house. Luckily some arial map viewing and we were able to navigate into the place.
