Still Waters exceeded our expectations! The pictures did not do the home justice. The layout was hard to decipher from pictures, but it fit our groups’ needs perfectly. The view was beautiful and the house had everything we needed plus some! The grill was perfect for a hibachi night and the patio was perfect for relaxing. Lindsay went above and beyond to accommodate an early check in and worked with us for a delayed check out due to an extended boat rental. The only “complaint” from the group was the mattresses were a little too firm, but that just encouraged us to get out of bed and enjoy the lake. We would highly consider coming back next year!

We loved our time at the lake! The house is really lovely...roomy, well built, lots of cozy nooks and creative touches. Fabulous having the pool table in the basement for the kids and they loved the speaker system. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is great! Also great bedrooms with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. And the lake was perfect...nice spot to dock the boat, nearby coves, lovely area. So relaxing by the water and the kids got some great skiing and tubing in. Relaxing and exciting getaway!! And the communication with Lindsay was great...we always heard back quickly and Lindsay made us feel right at home.

The house was perfect for our family vacation. Everything was as disclosed and Lindsay was easy to deal with and very responsive. We look forward to our next visit to the lake.

We rented Still Waters for a brief reunion with my sisters family and my elderly mother and we couldn’t be more pleased. The 10 of us had plenty of space, the house was spotless and well stocked. The dock was right on Gaston’s main lake making for a spectacular view. A terrific, relaxing but far too quick of a vacation. A big thank you to Lindsay and his family for sharing their home.
