Excellent location. Very peaceful. Excellent base for our adventures. Lesley was very responsive and flexible with check in. SteamPacket Inn nearby has great food but the service leaves alot to be desired. Excellent food and service at The Crown in Newton Stewart.

Idiotic Scotish cottage. Large airy rooms. Decorated as a cottage, but with all mod cons. Lesley even came to check if I was alright due to weather. Kindness most genuine. Thank you.

Lesley when above and beyond sharing useful recommendations and ideas. Our children thoroughly enjoyed feeding the lambs on their farm which was an unexpected bonus. The house location is ideal for exploring some lovely places within a 30 mile radius. We also enjoyed the walk through the forest to St Ninian’s Cave on the coast. I’d even suggested to Lesley that perhaps the house should be called “House of Silence” because it is exceptionally peaceful and quiet so no distractions when catching up on deep sleep! Thank you Lesley for a wonderful stay at your house!

This place was beautiful in a quiet neighborhood. Great for a getaway to rest and relax from the city. Lots of places to walk and charming villages in the area. The house has a secured garden, which allows you to peacefully enjoy tea or coffee when the dog plays safely. The owner was very helpful and kind. We will definitely go back there for summer holidays
