This studio apartment is in walking or driving distance to three private beaches in our community. There is 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, spacious bathroom and closet. The living room has a pull out full size bed and a kitchenette. Coffee, teas, beach chairs, cooler, fishing poles and tackle are provided. Being on the western shore provides amazing sunrises and lots of hiking nearby. Fifteen minutes from Solomons Island (home of the Tiki Bar). An hour or so from DC, Annapolis and Waldorf. The studio sits on a hill (there are steps and a grassy hill to access the main entrance). Please click each photo for description. Updated 8/28/2023: to include a 3 person Hot Springs Jacuzzi, this is a shared amenity. Sits on the back of the property behind the fire pit.

We had a great stay! Jennifer was very helpful with communication. The place was spotless and very peaceful! We enjoyed using the grill and hot tub. And we were pleased to find there were chairs and beach towels we could take to the beach. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!
Beautiful getaway trip for my husband’s 40th. Jen was very responsive & accommodating! The pictures don’t even come close to show how beautiful this place is! I would 100% recommend this beach cottage & will definitely book again!
This was our 2nd stay and Jen is an amazing person, she is so helpful and kind. The home was clean and in a great location, just steps from the beach. The homes looked just as described. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
The apartment was quaint and looked life the photos. I was very clean and comfortable. The beach was a block away. Jen was extremely friendly and helpful
Has literally everything you need! Nice for a quiet vacation as a couple or small family. There’s not a lot of activities in the immediate area but we still had no problem finding things to do. The amenities and the walkable beach kept us entertained. The house was spotless and had everything we could ever need.

Quiet and quant local neighborhood nestled on the Chesapeake Bay. Our beaches are community owned and private. Beach hang tags are required to park at the small lots.
Please note: this is a older Chesapeake Bay community. Cottages were built in the 30’s-50’s. Lots are small and it’s a close friendly community. There are depending on the time of year/water salinity, nettles (type of jelly fish), skates (type of sting rays), horseshoe crabs…you can enjoy eagles & osprey and at times pods of dolphins.

My husband & I moved to the Southern Maryland (Chesapeake Bay) area in 2016. We love Jesus, UGA football, being on the water, time with our grandson, volunteering in our community and camping with our dogs. In April 2023 we purchased a vacation cabin and are excited to get to know the Oakland MD area better as mentioned above we LOVE the great outdoors! Especially hiking and backpacking!
