Hi there fellow traveler, I'm a hospitality professional, so serving guests is what I do for a living. I've been in the business for 20 years and have learned through experience how to be a great host and anticipate the needs of my guests. I've lived in the Southeastern CT area for decades and love great food, exploring, having fun, and knowing the insider secrets. I will share all of my best tips with you to try to help you have the best time here you possibly can have according to your interests. Whether you're looking for outdoor active adventure, quite relaxation, or cultural stimulation, I'll have lots of ideas. As for food, I have a bunch of great suggestions for both casual and upscale dining. There are also plenty of not-so-good restaurants in the area. My goal is to steer you away from having a not-so-good meal at one of those. Taking care of the natural environment and living healthy are two passions of mine. I serve all natural and mostly organic foods to my guests. I run the Inn as sustainably as I can, recycling, composting, using energy efficient products, and natural cleaners and bath amenities. It costs extra, but I feel good about running my business this way. As for me, when I'm not hosting guests, I love traveling, especially in foreign countries. I love having great food when I travel and getting a sense of a place from the perspective of the locals. In my free time I kayak, go for long bicycle rides, practice yoga, and go to the beach.
