We primarily enjoy this home ourselves and make it available on Airbnb when we are traveling. As a result it is tastefully set up with everything needed for a fun stay with friends or family. We love both entertaining and relaxing here, and invite you to do the same on your next trip to the Hudson Valley. *Information about the pool for the summer months- open from May 11 through the end of September* Enjoy the pristine saltwater swimming pool looking out to the tree tops in the back of the home. The patio has a seating area and dining table with chairs, as well as two large umbrellas and a grill. We provide pool towels and have some floaties available. Please note that the water temperature is always dependent upon weather factors. Turning on the pool heat incurs a charge of $25/hr if used beyond 2 hours per day. We also have a solar cover which you can unroll over the pool like a blanket in the evening and remove in the morning. This typically adds 10-12 degrees to the water temp. Or, just enjoy a refreshing plunge! We recently added a brand new, spacious hot tub on the patio which is open year-round. It fits six guests comfortably (it is technically an eight-person hot tub), comes equipped with Bluetooth speakers, lights, and various jets throughout. Our home has a beautiful modern, minimalist design blending concrete and wood, decorated with a mix of vintage and unique new pieces. The large windows and tall ceilings throughout the home create the illusion of being in a tree house. The stunning kitchen with its 10-foot island is the focal point of the first floor. It is well stocked with dishes, glassware, cutlery, cookware, toaster oven, Vitamix, dishwasher, and a full coffee/tea setup. You have access to a wide variety of spices, oils, and other pantry goods. Enjoy dinner in the windowed dining room around the conversation-piece table. We love making meals for groups here. The cozy living room has a TV hidden in the custom cabinet (streaming access included) and a fireplace (easily operated via remote control). The concrete floors are heated for your comfort- great in the winter months. The living room, dining room and kitchen are downstairs with a convenient half-bath. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with comfortable queen-sized beds which share a full bathroom with a tub. The third, main bedroom has a luxurious king-sized bed and its own private bathroom with a built-in closet. This room has a gorgeous balcony overlooking the back of the home with the Hudson River just beyond the tree line. For your exercise needs, this room has a Peloton (bring your own clip-in shoes). Also available are a washer and dryer. All bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A linen closet on the second floor has extra towels.
