Beautiful 2 bedroom, first floor apartment located 7 miles from York City centre in the historical village of Stamford Bridge. Property consists of 2 double bedrooms, both with double beds(1 with en -suite), family bathroom, open plan fully equipped kitchen/living room/dining room with views out onto open countryside and the river Derwent. As you enter the property, you will be straight into the small hallway, leading directly up the carpeted stairs onto the first floor. Here you will find the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Please note that if you are bringing a child with you and you require a stair gate putting up and/or a high chair, please let me know when booking so this can be arranged. Off the living area, through the safety fire door, into the hallway, you will find the 2 bedrooms, both looking out onto the front of the property and driveway. The other 2 doors off the hallway are the bathroom and the small utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, mop & bucket, clothes airer, dustpan & brush, floor sweeper, iron & ironing board and electric portable fan.

We had a fab stay in Stamford Bridge. Angela was super helpful by sending clear directions and instructions on how to enter the property before we arrived. The place was spotless, very homely and looked exactly like the photos. We also appreciated the crumpets and chocolate biscuits that they left for us! We briefly met one of the hosts who was very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

Well this was probably the best find in awhile. The location was a great, not too far from York with easy transportation via bus. This meant no driving and no stressful parking. The flat was clean and inviting. Angela was really kind and respectful with great communication which did help our stay go smoothly. Great perks with same jammy dodgers and Milk upon arrival which were a great touch. Otherwise not much else to say, clean as you'd expect, alot of space and comfy.

Outside the property there is secure parking on the driveway with cctv. If you will be bringing more than one vehicle, please can you let us know so we can make sure you have enough parking space?
The bus stop is directly outside the front of the apartment for easy access to York City centre 7 days a week.
Just a 2 minute stroll over the historic bridge, you will find the village square with a wide variety of local shops including butchers, florist, delicatessens, Post Office, gift shop, whiskey shop, coffee shops as well as a pub, Chinese and Indian restaurants and a wine bar and bistro.
For those who like the outdoors, there are several walks along the River Derwent and beyond with nature trails all easily accessible from our doorstep.
