First and foremost Wilson's house is beautiful in a nice neighborhood. Outside of the house is well kept up and inside the house was absolutely spotless. I found Wilson to be a really good person and easy to talk with. He was quick to respond if I needed anything at all and his family were great. His mom and dad always treated me with warm greetings and his mother would talk to me almost daily teaching me some Spanish. I felt very much at home here and I'm very happy in deciding to stay here. This is a great place for the money.

The bathroom & kitchen weren’t clean. There were dirty dishes in the sink and/or on the counter. The bathroom’s toilet seat was often up and the toilet often unflushed. 🤢 The host doesn’t live there; family members do. There was nightly TV watching beyond midnight. For 2 nights there was a rolled up towel outside my door to quell TV noise. At 3am one night, I tripped on it when walking to the bathroom. My room was very clean. Upon arrival, I had asked if I could leave my car on the road for 3 days when I was to fly to FL subsequent to my 8 day stay. They said, “Yes, of course.” On the morning of my flight, I texted a reminder & received a VM reply claiming the street is for “current” guests. I was apologetic b/c I was far away; however, I wanted to remind them that in Alexandria there’s 72 hours of free parking on public roads. It’s a family house, and I sense AirBnB is simply a source of income. I didn’t feel welcome during my stay. Hospitality is lacking. The room itself is great.
