Working in the area for a few days & what a lovely place to come back to and chill out. It has everything you need and the area is full of places to eat and even a cinema close by. Thanks for the stay.

Good location as a base to explore the area. We managed the stairs fine but I would say they would be a problem for anyone with balance or mobility issues. Comfy beds, nice shower and bathroom. It is also right on the road and so if noise of traffic was an issue then you would need to consider that. Comfy beds, nice shower and bathroom and everything in kitchen that was needed. Nothing fancy but a nice decent place. Would recommend the chai hub Indian street food cafe on the corner nearby.

Beautiful historic cottage updated to feel modern and comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were perfect - everything you could want. Warm, spotlessly clean and in a great location for st neots town centre. Colin was really friendly and responsive and there’s a helpful folder of information. We would stay again. For info: Stairs are very steep - the bathroom is on a different floor to the bedrooms, so nipping to the loo at night is a bit unnerving! Not for the elderly or toddlers. All local parking spots were taken so, the only place we could park was the town centre - but it was only £4 for 23 hours and just a seven minute walk away - you can update it by phone. And there is a temporary car park for unloading right next door. Lastly, take an extension with extra sockets - there’s only one plug in the bedroom (understandable for the age of the house).

Colin was a great host, giving us full instructions on how to get into the house. Once inside, we found a very quirky house with a lot of character which was spotlessly clean with everything that you could possibly need. The house is on 3 floors so there is a lot of stairs which are a bit steep in places. There isn't any street parking outside but Lidl car park is right next door so can be easily used for moving cases into the house and there is off street parking a minute up the road which we used all the time that we stayed. Could perhaps do with a chest of drawers in the bedrooms. St Neots is a lovely town to walk round with a fabulous Church and Museum to visit and a good choice of coffee houses to sit and rest in. It is also a great base to visit Bedford, Peterborough or historic Cambridge which has lots of places to visit with the various colleges, universities and the Fitzwilliam Museum. I would certainly recommend this house and will stay here again next time we are in the area
