Stayed here with some colleagues for a tech meeting at Drexel and we were very pleased with the house.

The town house is unique, the interior is beautifully designed with its own style and character. There is no clutter, and the charming design elements in each room make you feel at home. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances, the set of dishes and cookware is minimal but sufficient. A minus is that the host cannot be reached via the Airbnb app. After making the reservation, I've received a phone number to text the host, but when texting this number I got an automated reply that this number is not monitored and I should call another number. When I called that new number, it was a cleaning company which stated they don't work with Evolve anymore. Ultimately, I was able to get a number for the host from Airbnb support, but it was quite stressful and took me about an hour. Also, workers from the nearby construction site passed freely through the backyard to urinate at the wall right behind the fence, undisturbed by my presence. Finally, free street parking is only few blocks away.

This is a great place to stay, especially if you’re visiting UPenn. All the information needed is on the listing. It was a little hard to communicate with the host since it’s a service, not an individual, but ultimately, it was easy enough to check in and the place fit our needs.

This place was nice and clean. Easy check in and check out…quick responses to our questions. However the house was light on linens. Not a lot of towels…there were no face towels or wash cloths so bring your own or you will have to buy some while you’re there. The beds were very low to the ground like almost on the floor—so caution there. It was decorated nicely and very clean. Nice tv in the living room with all the streaming services. Fully equipped kitchen and there was a cute shared backyard patio situation. My biggest issue here was the steps. The first bedroom with a bathroom was after the first flight of steps then the next two rooms were another flight up. The steps were pretty narrow and felt kinda unsafe—especially carrying luggage up them. Two of us tripped on them :(. Bannister at the top floor was a little wobbly. The house is located across from a rocky construction area and walls were thin. Otherwise we had a great short term stay here.
