A very lovely cottage in quiet surroundings . Great little get away for my friends and I. The perfect base for some outdoor exploring in the day, board games, drinks and hot tub in the evening! Would recommend and stay again. Just an FYI to other guests, apart from loo roll and washing up liquid, no other cupboard or toiletry items so bring those for yourself (hand soap, shower gel, salt/pepper/oil etc).

A great cottage , exactly what we needed for a girls weekend. It was clean with plenty of cutlery, crockery etc and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend this for a peaceful short stay👍

James sent us detailed instructions how to find the property which was very helpful as postcode took us half a mile away. Unfortunately there were problems with the property maintenance: the hot water kept losing pressure and we had to ask James for his help in this a few times (was fully fixed by mid week), the dishwasher broke (was replaced the following day), there was a very loose window in the children's bedroom (fixed that day), missing smoke alarms (2/4 were replaced the same day, the other 2 were not fitted despite requesting this), broken cupboard in living room with splintered wood, broken shower downstairs (fixed following day), among other small general maintenance issues. Sauna was not usable despite advertised. We had to clean utensils & plates - dirty from previous guests. WiFi was very intermittent. The location is wonderful & with more attention to maintenance, this would be an idyllic place to stay. It was not "luxury" as advertised. James was pleasant & responsive.

Just come back from a week holiday with the family, we stayed in Kingfisher cottage, and it was lovely! Very rustic, but spacious enough for all of us and two dogs, the hot tub was brilliant and not too powerful! The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and plates et cetera, there was not much in the way of cleaning materials and things such as salt and pepper. So if you’re going you need to take those with you. Dishwasher works really well with the washing machine. However we struggled with the dryer, really large spaces, fridge freezer, we couldn’t get the Wi-Fi working, they didn’t really bother us as we spent a lot of our time out and about, but if you’re relying on Wi-Fi for anything work et cetera it could be an issue. We would definitely stay again. The location was amazing for exploring walks and bike riding!
