Sadly we were only there for the weekend and the weather was a little mixed (obviously not the Host's fault). Angela used her buggy to ferry our belongings to the cottage a great help. Beautiful surroundings with a lake and the river just a few hundred yards away. Quiet, peaceful and tranquil, just what was needed away from the hustle of London life.
Stunning location, very peaceful, comfortable and cosy. Had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Hosts always very helpful . We would definitely like to visit again. 5 star rating⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the moment I booked Angela was so helpful. This was a surprise birthday getaway I had arranged for my boyfriend and Angela answered any questions I had in a timely manner. When we arrived Angela came with the buggy and picked us up with our luggage and took us to our barn. The barn itself is in such beautiful grounds it took our breaths away. The barn was everything I had hoped for and the pictures don’t do it justice! One of the major perks was the smart TV which a lot of places don’t have. We walked down to Egberts stone and for two people who love history this was a moment for us. We sat by the lake and fed the swans as bird food was provided and it was tranquility at its finest. I 100% recommend this property and location and we are already looking to book again! Thank you so much!
Exactly as advertised, the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only negative would be the thin walls, we could hear everything the neighbours were doing 😅
