The most home feeling airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Usually walking into an Airbnb I feel like I can’t relax or I can’t touch anything. Staying here felt like an extension of my home. I felt calm and relaxed and wasn’t worried about anything. Todd was always responsive and would check in before stopping over. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous views, and if you want somewhere you won’t be bothered then this is the place. I will 100% be staying here again the next time I’m out that way for a contract. Thank you Todd for making this work trip so much better than the rest of them.

When reading two reviews about the place being dirty, one would hope the host would correct the issue. Katy in September 2023 said it was dirty and Cathy in May 2023 gave a full report on the lack of cleanliness. When we booked, we felt sure it would be up to Airbnb standard. No. The fridge had shelves cleaned out, but the shelves were dirty with spilled solidified liquids and food debris. I had to clean it before I could put my groceries in. There is so much stuff crammed in all the kitchen cupboards I couldn’t put my own non-perishable food in. The toaster oven was filthy, the kettle was covered in sticky grease. The sink was filthy. Part of the reason we use Airbnb is because of the kitchen and this one was not clean. I texted the host, but at this point what was he or I going to do late in the day? I cleaned the kitchen and appliances and it’s cleaner now than when we moved in. The hall bathroom shower needs repairing, and the bathmats need washing. Beds comfortable and clean.

Great location between the wineries and Anza Borrego. Lovely view from the porches. House was a bit dirty compared to other Airbnbs I have stayed at, but if you don't mind that, everything else was great.

The views were beautiful! Very private and peaceful! The beds were comfortable and linens OK. The lack of cleanliness was surprising. The frig was full of food and needed to be cleaned. If I had brought groceries (which I would recommend ) I would not have wanted to put my groceries in it. The bathroom toilet bowls were stained. The dressers drawers and bathroom drawers were not cleaned out. There were opened make up bottles left behind on top of my dresser. The hamper in the master contained dirty laundry. One of the screen doors had a large rip in it. Past cleanliness reviews did not reveal problems so maybe this was a fluke. Perhaps ck with Todd before your stay.
