Good location for Ponta Delgada

My family (a son of 7 and a daughter of 3) and I spent 5 days in Pedro’s apartment. It was big and fully furnished. For the time we spent in, just the breakfasts and 2 diners, we felt as home, very confortable with space for my wife and I and other space for children. A wonderful seeing of the ocean is the landscape of the meals. For what concer position, I also appreciated a lot because in less than 2 minuts you are on the major route of the island to reach Nord, Sud, Est and West coast. Only a compalint, but is not under Pedro control, is the parking: I found locals not so welcoming to foreing. Anyway there are lots of parking and it will not be a reason to not chose again Pedro’s house if we will be back in San Miguel island. Completely recomended, even for family!

The apartment is located right outside the downtown area and has a great view of the ocean. I wish we had better weather so we could enjoy the large patio. The apartment is well organized and suited our family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked. We were worried at first about finding on street parking, but didn’t have any issues. Usually found a place 2-3 min walk from the front door. Pedro was very hospitable.

The apartment has an impeccable view. GO Only for that!! All amenities for a comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable sofas need some upgrade. Full kitchen had all appliances , good ones. Bathroom ok .. some strange smell in that area. Only part was we were told second floor but it was on the top floor. On reaching the main door of the apartment . I opened the door and again there was another flight of stairs to the actual flat . . so it was not comfortable for us after long journey and full day sightseeing. secondly the ants in dining area .. may be it’s island or maintenance problem . overall good.. little expensive for the terrace accommodation without elevator.

Really lovely flat for my mum and I. Would be nice for small family too, or two couples as each has own bathroom. Kitchen and living area so nice, cosy bit spacious. Lots of kitchen equipment and brilliant layout of amenities. Lovely walk into town and great base for sightseeing on the whole island. Boat rides and whale watching trips within a few minutes and great steak hoagie and fish restaurant short walks. Plenty for parking and so convenient for airport. Would stay again for sure!
