This home has everything you'd need for sharing meals, hanging out with family, and enjoying the peace and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. We spent two weeks here with our family and couldn't have had a better time.

This home has a quiet location, away from the road and close to the Applegate River, with an attractive yard. The furnishings are nice and as pictured in the photos. There is a comfortable patio where you can listen to sounds of the river, and the property is located a short drive from several Applegate wineries. We had some major issues, though. The house was not prepared for our arrival. There were spider webs on the bunk beds, complete with spiders. There were no basic supplies, such as paper towels or toilet paper to get us started. There was an infestation of earwigs, along with plenty of spiders and other insects. I never like to start a trip by wiping down counters and tables, and cleaning dead bugs out of showers and window sills, let alone seeing numerous live ones on the walls, floors and in sinks during the time we were there. We live in the country, so I am used to insects, but not at this level. I told the host, and his reply was, “ I am sorry to see that”. The river is swift and cold, so although lovely to look at, not swimmable. There is Applegate Reservoir about 20 minutes away where our kids/grandkids took their SUPs. The property is located on a working vineyard, so there were workers there some days. There are two local dining options. Groceries and more dining options are in Medford or Grants Pass, each about 30 minutes away in opposite directions.

A beautiful home surrounded by spectacular scenery. Peter was easy to communicate with and available to answer any questions. We will always cherish our time here and all the special memories we made. It exceeded our expectations!
