TLDR: Book this place if it’s available! First - this is located at the Baru “Luxury Homes” facility, which is a facility in transition from run down to highly desirable. Over the last year the place has gone from essentially run down and empty to nearly fully refurbished and occupied. The pool was recently remodeled, and the vilify seems to be getting better all the time. It has a lot of really good owner-occupied units that give the place a great feel. Super safe, super close to everything, and just really nice in general. Beach across the street, multiple good restaurants within walking distance, and a $5 taxi to town center. Next the unit - it’s excellent. We have three children so we enjoyed how there wasn’t a ton of fancy stuff for us to break, and what was there, Jeff was super great about letting us move things to the back room or up on shelves. It’s really well maintained, has all the amenities you need, and just feels like a home. Also- they have a dryer which is rare. Finally for Jeff and Michelle - they are awesome hosts. Jeff was always available via WhatsApp and went out of his way to make life easy for us, and Michelle was lovely and Gave us great advice on so many things. A++
