We had a wonderful weekend getaway here. Upon our arrival we were enthusiastically greeted by Mia, the pup on-site, which made my whole day. It looked exactly like the photos and despite the heat outside it was a nice, refreshing 70 degrees inside. We didn't use the kitchen but it appeared all amenities were as described. Anna also offered up her grill if we needed it. We loved hanging out on the porch in the evening after spending days at the nearby wineries, breweries, and distilleries, and watching the wildlife right off of the deck. The most adorable family of squirrels play on the rocks close to the deck and deer sightings are abundant. The bed was very soft and comfortable. Plenty to stream on the TV if you want a night in. It was very quiet and peaceful here and just what we needed for a quick weekend getaway. And Anna's recommendation to eat at nearby Hays City Store & Icehouse was so good we went back a 2nd time!

Everything was perfect. Place was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Was really nice being able to enjoy breakfast on the deck. Thank you!

Wonderful lodge in such peaceful, quiet surroundings. Anna was a great host and our stay was excellent - can highly recommend for easy access to all things Hill Country.

It was everything Anna said it was perfect located in the middle of everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be coming back

Anna and Eric (and of course Mia) are great hosts. They ate friendly and helpful, but give you the space you need. Casa Verde is a great unit, with everything you might need. This is a great place to explore the Hills region from. We strongly recommend this property to anyone seeking a getaway in the Texas Hills
