This is my second stay and I’m so glad I came back. A lovely little spot, comfy bed, great linen and towels, hot showers, well equipped kitchen, plenty of parking space. Well placed for the North Lakes hills and Coast. I’ll definitely book again :)

Eén van de beste airbnb's waar we ooit verbleven. Altijd fijn om te verblijven in een uitzonderlijk huis met een geschiedenis. De ruimtes waren zeer ruim, aangenaam. Middenin een grote tuin. De keuken was zalig om 's morgens te ontbijten. Super uitgerust met zelfs een was- en afwasmachine, een heerlijk welkomstpakket met kaas en wijn en lokaal bier. Een zalig groot bed met een goede matras. Een groot Tv scherm en zelfs heerlijke geurtjes (diffusers). We komen zeker terug !

Very impressive split level apartment in an old Victorian Manor House. Very spacious rooms, including fully equipped kitchen (and generous gifts left in the fridge!) Super comfy bed and sofas, lovely views and grounds. A great secluded base to explore the western lakes from and will definitely return.

beautiful place with plenty of walks nearby. Susan is a great host, very helpful with local tips and even prepared for us some local items to taste. recommended stay!

It was such an incredible experience being at Ehen Hall! The place is, literally, in the lap of nature, from a beautiful river on one side, lush trees all over, hills in the distance and a lake just a few steps away. If you want to rejuvenate and need a quiet, serene time, then this place is just for you! We didn’t have a car so, the host graciously offered to pick us up from Whitehaven station. The house is gorgeous and magnificent, very well maintained and has everything that you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, with the host mindful of every little thing that the guests would need. The touch of wine & cheese just made it perfect! The bedroom and the living room were perfect for spending time and even getting some work done as we worked from home. The garden and the outside area was just fabulous, full of daffodils and huge trees. We had a soulful time there! There is village shop & restaurant within walking distance.
