Cool neighborhood!
-Three blocks east there is a splash park and playground on turf. I recommend driving because it’s very hilly.
-1 block north and one block west is The Midtown Market That has a full liquor store, beer cave, grilling meats, chips, smoothies, ice cream, hamburgers to go, and everything in between.
-one block north and three blocks west is public library, post office, historic museum house, some churches, arts and crafts (Creative Culture), and misc. shopping.
-4 blocks west is Westport restaurants and bars such as Ale House, Sushi, Chicken and Waffles, Hookah, Jerusalem Cafe, Kelly’s, Bier Kitchen, Pizza, Insomnia Cookies, Picklemans, and many many more.
-5 blocks west is very walkable shopping and services like World Market, Nails, FedEx, Sun Fresh Grocery Store, Raising Canes, New Peking
-4-5 blocks to the South straight down our street is the Nelson Adkins Museum of Art and Lawn which is great for picnics, put put, and viewing art! There is a nice playground across from that.
-4-5 blocks southwest of here is Ragazza and the Levee! Just across the Parking lot of these places there is a really nice rubber exercise trail that will connect you to the Plaza Fountain and the east side of the Plaza! From there it is easy to enjoy Chuy’s Mexican, Rally House CheeseCake factory, and Buca Di Beppo (Family style Italian). No

Although we have a lot of parking, the easiest way to explore is to walk or rent a Bird scooter! If you have a need for more speed, renting a motorized scooter or city bike is an excellent way to see the sights and make it on time to your dinner reservation. In this part of the city there are also many Uber’s, lifts, and taxis. There are many bus stops as well in our area.
