A fabulously appointed 2 bed flat located in a pretty little village in the Wye Valley. Sleeps up to five people & we also welcome your four legged friends who will absolutely love the abundance of beautiful walks from the doorstep! The flat is located in the heart of the Wye Valley, a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Conveniently located with a village pub within a stones throw and there is also a beautiful church set alongside the village green, from the accommodation. The flat provides a spacious open plan living & kitchen area, with two two-seater sofas and a dining table that seats up to six. There are two bedrooms, one which is extremely spacious with a superking size bed, which can also be made up as a twin and there is an additional put up bed, to accommodate for fifth person. Bedroom two is also a superking size bed, which can also be made up as a twin **Please advise your bed configuration requirements at the time of booking. There is a family bathroom, which has a full-size bath and overhead shower. The kitchen, which is part of the open plan dining area, is fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine and is well-equipped for self-catering with an electric hob, oven and microwave.

Lovely property, perfect location, clean, tidy, loved it. Fab neighbours who lent us some flour for our homemade pizzas as we didn’t bring enough!

I strongly recommend this place. The surroundings are far better than what the pictures show, and it was very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Our host was kind and helpful and very responsive. Just be mindful of public transport on a Bank Holiday. We got into Lydney and there were no trains or buses. We couldn't collect the car we hired until the next day. We contacted many taxi companies and found they were either fully booked or were not working because of the Bank Holiday. Thankfully, when we were close to panicking we found a taxi driver who took us there, and it was only a 20mt drive! Incidentally, I also recommend Five Acres car-hire in Coleford. Very competitive prices against the usual rentals. Llandogo is a gorgeous village, and close to many places of interest. The inhabitants we came across were super friendly and made us feel welcome. Chepstaw and Mommouth which are close are lovely clean and pretty towns if you want/need services not found in Llandogo.
Lovely flat, nicely updated and very homely. Owners Tony and Julia were very helpful and quick to respond to any queries before and during our stay. It was very quiet, even though situated next to the main road. This has a 20mph speed limit, which the majority adhered to. Flat was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Easy to park around the back, out of sight, so we mostly left our bikes locked to our vehicle, although we put them in the lockable shed one night, as suggested. A great base from which to explore the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Not much in the village apart from The Sloop Inn which was very close by. Old fashioned pub, but good value food and friendly. The shop over the road doesn't look like it will be open any time soon, but we picked up provisions in Chepstow on the way and there was a small store in Tintern. Visited Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle, Yats Rock, local MTB Cycle Park (with uplift) and cycled up the old railway line. Would highly recommended.

The flat is located in the heart of the Wye Valley with a fabulous local pub on the doorstep & in the neighboring village of Brockweir you can't go wrong with a visit to the village eco shop which specialises in local food and also has a very popular cafe on site.
Perfectly suited for a comfortable countryside escape – with a choice of scenic forest walks, riverside strolls, cycling, canoeing or even wild-swimming in the Wye!
The Wye Valley and Forest of Dean have a huge number of activities for the adventurous and not so adventurous! From climbing up the steep cliffs along The River Wye to sitting in one of the traditional country pubs which serve good ales and delicious seasonal food. The highlight of your stay could be a visit to Michelin starred Whitebrook Restaurant, just a short drive away.
At just 20 minutes from the M4 Severn Bridge, this is the perfect place for short breaks from many cities.
