This was a perfect weekend for my family to get together and enjoy staying in a Bell Tent / Glamping style set up - Honestly couldn't praise it enough! The hosts really made us feel welcome and didn't judge our American Akita by breed instead were looking forward to hosting us once I explained he is a well behaved doggo. The location is lovely, private, (surrounded by the woods) and horses in the fields next to it. The set up was great, flat land, very comfy mattress beds, lovely picnic bench, fire pit and chairs to sit on. The facilities are very well made, considering it's in a field, the standards of the shower block and washing up basin are to very high standards - separate eco toilet which is very tidy. Dog and baby friendly, safe fencing all around the field. I love camping so this set up was perfect for me and my family, I cannot wait to book this little spot again - absolute gem!
We really enjoyed ourselves, despite the nonstop rain! The fact that it was a (large) tent in a wet field made it really feel like camping. But the *individual* toilet, kitchen, and shower facilities were all spotless, and made it feel like glamping! Beautiful surroundings and an easy walk into the village for supplies. I hope to go again next summer for a bit longer. And hopefully a bit drier!!

'Glamping' was the only option for me to camp with my husband and toddler, and I have to say, this was the perfect place. It still felt adventurous for the boys but comfortable for me. Everything was squeaky clean, pillows, beds, sheets, kitchen, toilets... All thought through carefully. We loved the great big fire pit, the picnic table/bench was perfect and everything went smoothly. Our 3yo boy loved running around and seeing the horses in the next field. Also very private, we shared the ground with another family and ended up spending lots of time with them which was an unexpected bonus! We will definitely come back next year, for a longer stay! The high street has everything needed, a local butcher which is top quality, a co-op, a nice pub...you name it. We found a local playground for our son and a horse-riding session too, as recommended by the hosts. We would like to thank our hosts extensively for their excellent communication, recommendations and friendly assistance!
