May Cottage - 2 bedroom mews cottage with parking in a prime spot of a vibrant village of Milford on Sea. The cottage has a sunny front patio to enjoy your breakfast & coffee to start the day. The cottage is 2 minutes walk from the shops, pubs, parks and restaurants. Under 15 minutes walk to the beach. Ideal for walks, cycling, birdwatching & watersports. Milford on Sea is on the south coast, a vibrant village between Bournemouth and Southampton in the heart of New Forest next to Lymington. The cottage is of mews style within a small development of 6 properties. We comfortably sleep 4 in 2 double/ twin bedrooms. We have a small sunny patio area at the front which is a sun trap from first thing in the morning until early afternoon. Outside: - The cottage is off the main road leading to a private entrance. Other properties in the mews are also holiday lets. - Small patio area at the front with table and chairs. - Private parking Downstairs: - Door opening onto hall. - Kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. - Sitting/dining room with corner sofa-bed, dining table, feature fireplace, TV, Amazon fire stick and family games. Upstairs: Bedrooms have a nice outlook over neighbours tropical garden. - Bedroom 1, Large bedroom with superking memory foam bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. - Bedroom 2, Smaller room with kingsize bed which can be made into 2 small singles and open wardrobes. Please specify how you would like the bed made up at booking. - Newly fitted bathroom with bath and powerful rainfall shower, hand basin and WC. The Area: Just a 2 minute walk towards the green brings you to award winning restaurants plus independent shops and cafes. There is a big park just round the corner which the kids will love. The large beach which is 10-15 min walk has stunning views across to the Isle of Wight and the Needles, it can be sandy at mid-low tide. The sand bar that is uncovered at very low tide creates a shallow lagoon. Spend the afternoon walking around Keyhaven nature reserve, paddle boarding, crabbing at the bridge or relax at the popular beach in the evening and watch the sunset. We provide the kids (and adults) with crabbing lines, bucket and spade. We also provide 2 camping chairs, which are particularly handy when heading to the green for the evening.

Absolutely loved our stay. Was a perfect size place, had everything we needed. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful walks and beach. Great drives locally. Loads of good food out and a cosy night in. Thankyou x
Great house - spotlessly clean and in a great location. No issues whatsoever.
Had a great few days stay in Charlottes home. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything you would need and very comfortable. It's in a great location, only a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops, and easily walkable to the beach. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. We would highly recommend a stay here.
My parents and I had a very relaxing time in this property. It was warm, cosy, very very clean. Communication with the owners was excellent and when we had a slight problem they got it sorted straight away. The property is ideally located in the village with pubs, tea rooms and small shops. Car space at back of property which was very handy Can walk to the sea in about 10 minutes Will definately book here again. Felt so relaxed after our couple of nights away 💖. Thank you so much 😊

Milford on Sea is on the south coast, a vibrant village between Bournemouth and Southampton. Its location is perfect, with the New Forest on one side and beaches and cliff-top walks on the other. It’s also a great spot for sailing and water sports.
The Area:
Opposite the cottage is the Saltwater cafe which has been rated best cafe in Hampshire, the perfect start to your day, enjoy a coffee and breakfast on your patio in the morning sunshine. Just 10 minutes down the road you can venture into The New Forest or Lymington Town. In Lymington you can enjoy boutique shops on cobbled streets, coffee and cake and tasty lunches in hidden cafes or historic pubs, and ice cream mooching along the Quay.

- Walking (or running) the sea wall between Lymington and Keyhaven
- Paddle board hire and tours are available in the village. A large quiet area of water, protected by the Hurst Spit, which is superb for kayaking, paddle boarding or kite surfing.
- Pony Trekking
- The beautiful Mudeford Quay is located a short drive away with its delightful beach huts and enchanting walk to Hengistbury Head along the coastal paths
- Boat tours to Hurst spit and Isle of Wight
- Crabbing at Keyhaven, also a great 'pooh' stick bridge within walking distance
- Strawberry picking - 15 min drive
- Adventure Golf - 15 min drive
- Paultons Park - 50 min drive
- Long Down Dairy farm - 40 min drive
- Lymington Sea Water Baths, kayaking, inflatables and children’s splash pools all available - 10 min drive
- New Forest Reptile Centre - 40 min drive
Public Transport
The nearest main line train stations are Brockenhurst and New Milton. You would need to get a taxi or bus from these train stations. You can also jump on the Lymington 'Flyer' which is a 10 min train journey between Brockenhurst and Lymington. Once in Lymington you can get a bus or train to Milford on Sea, approx a 10-15 mins drive.
