What a fantastic place! Kimberly has created a beautiful space. She is extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Our tent was clean and the beds were comfy. The site is lush with trees and grass and the outdoor shower was killer. Reminded me of hostels I’ve been to in Central America where you can meet other travelers. Perfect place to “camp” for all your gravel and mountain bike adventures. Great vibes!

What a little oasis in Fruita! Our kids loved glamping in our beautiful tent. The outdoor kitchen was very functional and easy to use. We made friends with the cats, wild mustang, goats, ducks, and chickens. Lots of hammocks and fun places to hang out in the yard! Kimberly went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

We loved staying at Da Shabby Moose! Kimberly is a great host, provided everything we could have needed, gave great food and outing recommendations, we even got to cook fresh chicken eggs for breakfast. Our tent had an a/c and heater, and the private outdoor shower under the stars was the best way to end our day. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Kimberly!

We were driving thru bringing my daughter to college and the listing seemed like a fun place to stay. Arrived and "Welcome Anthony" was writen in front of my parking spot, nice touch! Kimberly greated us and gave us an amazing tour of her property, introduced us to all her aminals and we hung out a bit and got to know each other. She is a very lovely person and I really enjoyed this part. Its a really fun spot with lots to do and see. Relaxing in a hammock, playing games, enjoying the animals, the sunflowers, the stars, sunrises and sunsets. The restrooms are so clean you can take your time in there and the huge outdoor shower with nice hot water was a gamechanger. My daughter and I were fortunate to get the whole place to ourselves on a Monday night which hit the spot after a long road trip BUT I would love to come back when its full and lively to meet new people and see Kimberly and the animals again. You've gotta take the trip to Da Shabby Moose! Your soul will thank you :)
