An exceptionally pleasant place to stay. Very clean, fresh room, which felt large, and tastefully painted and decorated. Naturally cool during the day. Quite delicious breakfast, with many things home made (e.g. eggs, jam, fruit etc). Very well served with no corners cut. Nice simple lunches available, and flexible to make something not strictly on the blackboard. Toby and Kristin are helpful and hospitable, and even offered an ice cream mid afternoon. We will certainly return. Thank you very much.

Please do yourself a favor and spend your holidays at Quinta da Luz. The whole location is simply stunning. You will be surrounded by beautiful nature and amazing views that you can dedicate your day at the pool to. Far enough from all the touristic noise but still close enough to reach everything within a short time. You can perfectly start your day with breakfast on the terrace which is included in your stay and prepared with so much love by the lovely owners themselves. Should you decide to spend the day at the quinta which we ended up doing quite often, don‘t worry about little cravings throughout the day - cold drinks are ready for you anytime and even little snacks can be prepared upon request. Even though the pool is shared, you will always have enough privacy. Whenever you‘re not sure what to do or where to eat, just have a look at the guide that is provided to you prior arrival that contains all information needed for a carefree time off. An outside massage in the shadow under the trees will lead to a very special peace of mind. However, returning to your room will make you equally happy as it is furnitured with a great eye for aesthetics and a high degree of quality. Concluding, we simply felt super comfortable and relaxed. We would come back anytime. Thank you for everything!
