Everything was as described and better! From every window, there was an amazing view! The mountains are nearly in the backyard. The house was beautiful as well. We spent most of our time in the Arizona sunroom, admiring the view. We also walked the grounds each day, which was lovely. There were nice, personal touches all around the home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cochise and would definitely visit again! Thank you for the peaceful, gorgeous stay!

We absolutely loved staying here. The house was so well located between Kartchner Caves and Chiracahua national Monument. It far exceeded our expectations and was very peaceful. We knew there were no shops nearby so we came prepared with food for all our meals and cooked in the kitchen every day and sat at the long table , while we looked at the mountains. We'd highly recommend it and would stay again if we were in the area.

The Cochise Casita was very peaceful and quiet location. The home was far larger than we thought from just looking at the pictures. It had a nice living and dining room. And the kitchen was perfectly designed and laid out. It was a pleasure to cook in. The property itself is right up against the beautiful Stronghold Mountains. The yard seemed like an animal freeway as we saw a herd of 20 wild pigs and many deer pass through. There isn’t much for shopping or restaurants nearby. But there are some lovely wineries. We were really lucky on the weather. It was early November and the daytime highs were around 70 and the lows at night in the 40s. Absolutely perfect clear skies and amazing moonless dark nights. The Milky Way was visible from the west all the way to the eastern horizon. This is such a great location for peaceful time away from a busy life. We will definitely find a way to come back soon.

We have been staying at various Air Bnb’s in the Portal, Pearce, Willcox areas this last year. This house is located in a beautiful location. The sun room is neat but you definitely have to plan on when to use it and how long to keep the doors open. I tried working in there one morning and it got so bright I had to relocate. It was also amazing how well the straw built house retained its warmth. We enjoyed everything about the home and location. We would highly recommend it.
