We stayed for three nights with our dog. Easy access to The Dales, beautiful scenery and drives out to Ribblehead and Hawes. Weather not brilliant but we still enjoyed our stay. The coffee and cake were much appreciated on our arrival. Lianne was very helpful and always responded when we messaged with any queries.

I am SO glad I found this little hidden gem! I stay in the area a lot for work but decided to have a nice break for 5 days. I didn't want to leave! Even asked if it was booked for the weekend so we could stay on. But it was all booked up. The location is perfect if you want to walk to the pub and into Settle. We found a little cut through path and it took 10 minutes to walk to Booths Supermarket. Then another 5 into Settle Villiage. We will be back soon!

Unfortunately, our peaceful stay was disrupted by lots of noise from the above property throughout the week (very loud stomping and banging in the mornings/evenings, and barking throughout the day). Noise doesn't normally bother us too much but this was excessive. On a personal note, we really didn't appreciate the host's empty threat in the welcome message - 'a 250 pound Good Housekeeping deposit will be held on your payment card for 7 days after you vacated the apartment'. Airbnb do not allow hosts to charge guests a security deposit so to receive this in our welcome message was not the best start to the weeks stay. There was also a heating issue that took them a long time to fix, we just felt overall like an after thought as guests. On a positive, the flat is well located in the Yorkshire Dales with lots of nearby walks, and had required amenities.

Can’t rate this beautiful apartment highly enough. From the milk in the fridge and tasty parkin, to the beautiful sheets and comfy bed, everything was just perfect. Lianne’s communication was great but never too much. The village is divine.
