We are walkable to Cerritos Beach, the only safe swimming beach on the Pacific side. The surfing is world class as is the fishing, the hiking, and the mountain biking. All accessible from the apartment.
Also within walking distance are great restaurants! From wood oven pizzas to fresh caught fish, enjoy some of the best food in town. But while in Mexico, you have to eat tacos! Barracuda Cantina, just down the road, is a must eat and was featured in Netflix's "The Taco Chronicles"! Sit under their open air Palapa while the Baja born staff serves you up garden to glass drinks (the passion fruit is my favorite!) and made to order fish and shrimp tacos. And their ceviche is second to none!
So much to do so close by! Surf at Cerritos, go zip lining in the mountains, fish in Cabo, snorkel with whale sharks in La Paz, or ride a dune buggy through the desert. And just to top off your experience, during the winter months you can watch whales breach from the comfort of your chaise lounge!
While you can walk to it all from here, we are a little further removed from the other guest casitas and apartments in Cerritos (just a bit up the hill) so we have a unique element of privacy as well as less light pollution to enjoy the evening star show! And if it is privacy you crave, forgo Cerritos beach on a busy day and simply walk below the apartment to a nearly never used private beach cove.
Cerritos Beach is in the town of El Pescadero about an hour from San Jose International Airport and about 15 minutes south of the artist town of Todos Santos. In Pescadero and Todos Santos you will find art galleries, artisan shopping, gourmet restaurants, fun bars, organic farm stands, yoga classes, beautiful beaches, baby turtle sanctuaries, and much much more.

You will want a car while you are here. While you may never want to leave (and there is plenty to do just on foot), there are lots of restaurants and activities to explore that will require a car. If you don't want to rent a car, we recommend using Todos Santos Private Transportation.
Also, we are charmingly rural and our roads reflect that! Get ready for bumpy, dirt roads!
