Omg what can I say, after getting back from a lovely four day Christmas break I am so refreshed and relaxed not at all how one would normally feel two days after Christmas 😂. What a beautiful little cabin with the added bonus of the hot tub which our son never wanted to get out off😄. Cooking Christmas dinner on the range cooker was great I always feel like I never have enough room so I was in my element. The whole place was so homely with everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be booking again.

If the hot tub is the main appeal then absolutely! It is wonderful, great size and well maintained. The kitchen also generous size, well equipped plus decent size fridge and counter-top freezer definite plusses there! The less good things is the weird musty smell throughout (mainly in kitchen cupboards & bathroom - they have put air fresheners in so at least trying to mask it). Not great for more than 4 people either as tiny lounge /4 seats at tables. The biggest disappointment to us was we booked mainly because of the enclosed garden for our dog but discovered half the fence missing (locals said has been for a while) - annoyingly we could have come prepared but we weren't pre-warned - nor any apology when I messaged - so it made it a much more stressful time & sadly spoilt it for us. We have stayed in much better mainained properties on the fitties for less money so unlikely to return. Also (not necessarily negative but worth knowing) no wifi & no phone signal refreshingly off grid!

Thank you Abbey for a wonderful stay. The chalet is lovely and so well equipped. It is in a fantastic position on the fifties and so close to the beach. We enjoyed walking our dogs their every morning. The hot tub is a huge bonus and we enjoyed chilling in their every evening. A fantastic time was had by all and we definitely hope to be back. We had a lovely few days at Audrey’s Plaice. Absolutely stunning location and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Very private, peaceful and picturesque. The chalet was comfortable for 6 guests with everything we needed for the duration of our time there. My only comment for future guests with dogs is that the garden isn’t fully enclosed (it did look as though the fence at the side was being repaired though but there was a gap in the bushes at the front) so we did have to keep a close eye at all times to make sure none of them wandered off. Overall an amazing time and would definitely recommend.

Abbie’s place is a small chalet near the beach and is therefore a bit rustic and quirky. It’s perfectly situated for the lovely beach nearby but a bit small and lacking in modern facilities for longer than a couple of nights. No Wi-Fi is fine, quite nice to switch off and there is a clean and modern hot tub which is great after a long walk. The whole place has a charming feel to it but don’t expect to be blown away if you’re expecting top quality bedding and shower facilities. We had a nice stay overall.
