Great location, perfect little place for 2. plenty of free parking in the area, and management company was very clear and punctual with communication. Definitely recommend this property.

As soon as we entered the home we noticed an overwhelming smell of MOLD. We quickly opened all windows & left the space to catch happy hour. We had hoped that would resolve the smell, it did not. We decided not to spend much time in the house due to the obvious. Unfortunately we didn't locate the source of the mold until the last day: the shower caulking was cracked/faulty, visible mold/filth on the inside AND outside of the shower door, baseboards had mold, so did the floor grout. The biggest display was mold crawling up the wall behind the toilet. Being exposed to this level of toxic mold is extremely bad for my friends health (she has Lyme disease). I am also highly allergic to mold & was experiencing respiratory distress due my exposure. It's absolutely shameful & negligent that AirBNB/O'Neal VR would rent out a property in this condition. The state of this property is a health violation & they refuse to refund us. Do not stay here unless you're willing to put your health at risk.

My husband and I had such an amazing stay in this beautiful home! Some of our highlights included: -Felt right at home, very safe, private and didn't hear any noise around us -The place was very clean, pristine and had all the amenities we needed -Great wifi -Best of all was the location! You are just a couple blocks from the beach (you can see it from the front of the house); you're a short walk to the boardwalk, the wharf and some super great restaurants, shops and bars. We would absolutely love to stay here the next time we're in Santa Cruz! The only suggestion I would give is to provide more towels. Only one big towel was left for each of us for a 12 night stay, which is the same amount that would have been left for a one night stay. Two more were eventually brought though :)
