The day before we arrived, the owner contacted me saying there was a leak in one room that will be unavailable to us as well as the pool will needs servicing which we will be unable to utilize. The house was huge, however there were many issues than we thought. The leak that occurred in one of the bedrooms leaked in the den as well because both rooms smell awful. We placed something under the bedroom door to trap in the smell. The den we had air fresheners as temporary fix but spent most of the time upstairs. The fridge was not getting cold so we had to transfer most of our food to the freezer. A stench was coming from the pipes the owner explain it was probably from the leak. No hot water, we had hot water when we was checking out. Microwave was going in and out. Screen door broken could not fully open, hole in the closet. Vent broke in one of the bathrooms, We had to pay to take our trash to the waste disposal place. We had a good time and made the best of our short stay.

We had a great stay at "Chez Martine." The house is enormous! The photos really don't do it justice. The top floor has an open kitchen and sunken living area to hang out in with a fireplace, and downstairs are multiple bedrooms and wings with plenty of space for all your guests. There are plenty of bathrooms spread throughout - which was great for our large group (17), and the house was well stocked with basics (kitchen, bathroom, linens). The house was clean and instructions were clear about access, trash removal, check in/out, etc. We BBQ'd, used the fire pit (picked up a cord of wood from Tops Market 5 mins away), and played a lot of outdoor sports in the enormous backyard. Meir was also a pleasure to communicate with! He contacted us a day before check to clarify any questions we might have as well as just to touch base and see if there would be anything else we needed before arrival. We also had to reach out to Meir when we first arrived- he was always immediately responsive and happy to help. Definitely recommend his place, especially for large groups!

The property is massive and situated in a secluded location. My party was able to use the space without issue, and the multiple common spaces and large dining area made the experience quite nice. Additionally, the pool was well-maintained. Do note that heating the pool comes at an additional cost. We did experience some issues with cleanliness of the house - namely the floors were grimy, there were cobwebs in the common areas, some of the towels did not smell clean, and bugs were found in the dishwasher. Overall, our party was able to make the place livable for the weekend, and Meir did note that he would be switching cleaners going forward.

Meir was a really good host. Very responsive and receptive to everything we needed. The space was nice and the pictures don’t do it justice of how amazing it is.
