Wonderful cottage felt right at home. Really nice landlord. The crown inn around the corner is one of the best pubs we have been to in Norfolk.

I couldn't fault April Cottage, it was cosy & clean and above all in a very peaceful, just right for us. The kitchen was amongst the best equipped we’ve stayed in, & one of the very few that had a decent set of Kitchen Knives. The Bathroom actually had a bath, which was a bonus & there was more than enough storage space. One feature that we appreciated was that there were plenty of hooks to hang up coats etc., something that is often missing from many AirB&B’s we’ve stayed at. Regarding information in the cottage: there was a very useful run-down of every eatery in the area and we can recommend the local Crown Inn, 5 minutes walk away, brilliant food & great service. There was also a whole range of very useful hand books for the appliences in the kitchen as well as key 'phone numbers. The only thing missing was details of recycling which aught to have been included. Overall, a great place to stay in a lovely area, we would cheerfully stay there again.

Cottage is in a pleasant location and situated on a very quiet road. Inside the cottage the space inside is adequate, but the second bedroom is very small. No storage, bedside light was not by the bed so you needed to get out of bed to turn it off. Two adults would struggle in this room. The main bedroom is a good space with plenty of storage for a couple. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and although we didn't really make use of it, the living room is a pleasant space with tv and dvds on offer for entertainment. The cottage is dog friendly, but they are not allowed upstairs, something which is useful to know before booking rather than on arrival. There is an excellent Deli that has just opened in East Rudham and I would highly recommend trying it out if staying there.

I really enjoyed my stay, a wonderful cosy cottage, with everything you need. Close to great places like Wells next to sea, , Holt, Holkham. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings with a great local gastro pub. I would highly recommend this cottage, the hosts were very responsive, kind and flexible. I will definitely go back! 😊
