Barbara was fantastic and her place was beautiful. She was helpful from the moment we booked. The apartment far exceeded our expectations as it was immaculate, the rooms are spacious, the beds and furniture are very comfortable, and there are windows throughout that look directly over a canal. Also, it is only a 15-min walk from the train station and the area is relatively peaceful. A great pleasure to stay here and we will recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. Without question, when we go there again, Barbara will be the first person we contact for a place to stay!

The apartment is stunning. Fantastic location, central but also out of the Venice tourist traffic and into a more local resident feel. Barbara is a lovely host and has really thought about many things and worked hard to create a great place to stay. I highly recommend this apartment. We travelled as a family baby in arms and it’s doable with the right equipment! Barbara provided us with a cot and high chair which made things easier. If you can, arrange a water taxi to the apartment as it drops you right outside saving hassle and time.

I cannot say enough good things about this apartment It is an absolutely gorgeous location with views out over a cross-roads of 2 canals in a quiet square a little way from the main Rialto area The apartment itself is wonderfully decorated and spacious Barbara was an excellent host who met us at the closest vaporetto station and walked us to the apartment showing us lots of places to visit/drink/eat on the way There were also loads of little touches that really elevated the experience for us Milk and water was provided in the fridge, along with plenty of other cooking essentials (herbs/spices/oil/bread/pasta) Cotton Wool, Soap and Shampoo in both very modern bathrooms Travelling as 2 couples, we have used many airbnbs around europe and this was absolutely our favourite ever place to stay If it was possible to give 6 stars we would have done so Only negative is that if you had limited mobility then this would not be suitable as the apartment is on first and second floor 110% recommend
