We LOVED our stay and will definitely be back! The house is so cute and cozy, the surroundings were beautiful, and even though you can see the neighbors, it still felt very private. The stars from the rooftop deck at night were beautiful! The bed was comfortable and we felt so at home! Carrington was very responsive and kind.

My mother and I enjoyed our annual getaway to the hill country! We loved all the beautiful colors of the walls, Stainglass windows, and the peaceful at home feeling. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and everything was very clean. We enjoyed exploring the dry river bed, but it should be known that you need to be somewhat physically, fit to climb all of the stairs down and back up! We kept the doors open in the evenings and morning for fresh air and to hear the beautiful sounds of all of the birds. We thoroughly enjoyed the mornings and evenings out on the deck overlooking the river bed as well.

Very cozy cabin and definitely can tell that it was handmade. Lots of pretty stained glass and art all around. Wish there was a couch of some kind to relax on downstairs. The chairs worked for our short stay. The dog run was small but good for our needs. The rest of the property is fairly fenced off so we were able to let our dogs out with us on the patio, but watch out for all the cacti! I did think that it would be more secluded but the neighbors were visible through the wire fence. The riverbed also isn't as easily accessible as we thought and we could not take our dogs down there to hike. We maybe could have traversed it if it was just my husband and I, but it is definitely not easily doable. Overall it was very easy to get to and the instructions were very clear. There isn't much around but we enjoyed the seclusion. We saw so many deer!

This property is a true gem for travelers looking to have an authentic experience in Texas Hill Country. It is well suited for nature enthusiasts and guests who are seeing a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The home is perfectly decorated with gorgeous stained glass, thoughtfully placed art, and literature. The welcoming vibes extend into the extremely comfortable bedrooms, which were very nostalgic for me and reminded me of climbing into a nice soft bed at my grandma’s house as a child. The kitchen provides all of the basics needed for meal preparing, as well as a charcoal grill and fire pit outside. My pups enjoyed playing in the grassy dog run. The dog run definitely exceeded my expectations! Star gazing and rock hounding were the stars of the show for my family. Access to the creek was easy to find, and the variety of fossils, rocks, and minerals blew us away! We found some amazing specimens. I definitely hope to return in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a very comfortable place tucked away in a private area. The views and sunsets were incredible! We loved the artwork and colorful decorations throughout the house and can’t wait to come back again.
