自我介绍

I came to Bar Harbor in 2008 for a summer job studying the Atlantic Puffins and loved it so much and felt so welcomed by the town that I have stayed ever since! I also met my wonderful husband, a small plane pilot and captain on the tour boats here in Bar Harbor. My husband, our sweet dog, and I love living right here with Acadia National Park at my back door and I want to share this love with others who come to visit! I have worked at our local Mount Desert Island Hospital for many years, but am finally back to being outdoors and experiencing and sharing our spectacular environment. My long time profession is a wildlife researcher and environmental educator, having worked for our local Bar Harbor Whale Watch and Acadian Nature Cruises in the past. Currently I am working at our local outdoor sports shop, Cadillac Mountain Sports but during the busy summer season, I am primarily using my Registered Maine Guide License and lead Kayaking, Biking, and Hiking excursions with Coastal Kayaking Tours! My experience in the outdoors will help you find the best fit and find the best opportunity to enjoy Acadia NP and our amazing area of Downeast Maine, which is my home. I am always thrilled to meet all the travelers and share in our variety of cultures, which makes life so delightful and exciting! So keep exploring, everyone!
