I stayed with Melanie & Will for a few days whilst on a solo trip with my dog. They made me feel very welcome & at home and gave me lots of recommendations to do. The accommodation was tidy , clean and felt just like home. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you xx

What an idyllic place to stay! Accommodation much roomier than it looks on photos & the courtyard is perfect for sitting & relaxing. It’s set in a lovely little village surrounded by beautiful countryside with wonderful walks close by. We were made very welcome by Melanie & Will who went out of there way to help in anyway they could. Won’t hesitate to book again on our next visit. Thank you for a lovely stay 😊

Melanie’s place was absolutely lovely! Very clean and tidy with lots of personal touches - there were scones waiting for us on arrival! The kitchen was huge and the bed extremely comfortable. Plus the shower was amazing! The setting is idyllic - right by a river with beautiful Devonshire countryside surrounding it. The Tally Ho pub is literally next-door!(but never noisy) and it had lots of local beers to try. You can walk to Totnes easily along the ridge of a hill which had beautiful views. Thank you Melanie for being so welcoming and friendly. Would love to come back and stay again! 😊😊 Sally and Stephen x

My daughter and I loved staying in the annex! The space is beautiful light and airy, the bed is a good size and v comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, functional with everything you could need and there is a great shower in the bathroom. I loved the big windows on each side with nature to look out onto. The general style and energy of the place makes it a pleasant and very peaceful environment to be in. Mel and Will were lovely hosts, friendly, kind and considerate people. They were available if we needed them and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is amazing... with the river nearby, local walks and a very good local pub the Tally Ho that does delicious food. It is so nice to be so close to Totnes but to be staying in such a beautiful place surrounded by the countryside. Highly recommended! Thanks for having us Mel & Will :-)
