Villa worked great for our group of two families. Maybe the interior was a bit smaller than in the photos, but the outdoor space made up for it. Children enjoyed wathcing the goats and chickens at the next door plot. Location was great for doing day trips by car around the island. The beach and basic services were conveniently withing short walking distance.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The outside space and pool are amazing (and there is a second pool we could make use of too!). Gaby regularly communicated with us before our stay, arranging transfers from Chania airport and meeting us at the villa. It is a fantastic villa, very clean and tidy and the owners left us wonderful fruits and essentials to welcome us. The villa is a short walk from local tavernas and shops, and the owners also have a supermarket and offer a discount for those staying at the villa! A car is useful for exploring further afield, but we didn’t have one for our stay. We took a local tourist train to Lake Kournas and a bus to Rethmyno for a day out. With the bars, shops and beach on our doorstep we certainly didn’t need a car. We would certainly recommend this villa to other families and the location is ideal. Thank you to Gaby and the owners for a wonderful stay and being so welcoming!

Our 2 families (4 adults, 5 children 10-16) had a great stay in Olympic villa this summer. The location of the villa was perfect as it’s in walking distance of beach and amenities - which were just right for what we needed. Nothing too busy but enough going on to vary things each day. The freshwater lake (2.5 miles away) is a must see and we also had a day at the water park (50 minute drive up the coast) which mixed things up. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts from the timely communication since our booking was made, right till the end of our stay. The discount from the local supermarket (also owned by the family) was a nice touch as was the discount in their taverna too. Good food at reasonable prices. The villa was fab. Note the 4th bedroom is quite open as is next to living room /bathroom (bunk bed +1 pull out) but it worked for us with age of children). Other 3 bedrooms can sleep 3 each. bonus 2nd pool kept kids entertained too. Highly recommended!

We had a nice stay at Kyriakos' place (3 adults and 2 kids). The swimming pool area is a bit older than shown in the pictures but is OK. the garden area is very nice and the kids spent a lot of time playing football in the garden. we had a bit of problem with different insects in the house (I know this is common in the area) and Gaby was very responsive and they gave us some products to use but we had to be careful. the kitchen is not as well equipped as we had hoped - basics are there - but we had been spoilt from our previous accommodation! we had to buy kitchen roll, no big cups for tea, no tea or coffee even just for the first day. of course this is an added extra but for the price point it would have been nice. location is not findable on a map yet so had to meet Gaby and follow her in the car to get to the house, but it was not difficult. location is good - lots of restaurants and shops are walking distance and the nice beaches are not far. Gaby is very responsive.

Das Haus war wirklich wunderbar - es gab viele gemütliche Sitzecken, die Küche war super ausgestattet und der Strand nur 10min zu Fuß entfernt. Man hat alles, was man braucht und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Perfekt für eine Woche auf Kreta! Wir würden das Haus jedoch Max für 8-10 Personen empfehlen, damit alle genug Platz und ruhige Schlafgelegenheiten haben. Gaby und auch die Familie Kyriakos waren tolle Gastgeber - total hilfsbereit und freundlich! Danke für den schönen Urlaub!
