Desde que llegas a la casa , se siente no querer irse de ella, está super cómoda, los anfitriones tenían muchos artículos de uso personal a disposción, cada vez que contacte a Humberto para hacerle alguna pregunta siempre estuvo disponible,la casa sinceramente invita a quedarse en ella para siempre, es de esos lugares que apesar de que sabes que no son tuyos y debes irte y no encuentras como hacerlo,la vista al lago y las montañas, la comodidad, el aire frio de la naturaleza, el verdor de los árboles, y sobretodo la paz y tranquilidad que se siente la hace el lugar perfecto para querer ir una y mil veces😍😍

Had a wonderful stay. Sadly it was a rainy week, but we made the best of it. House is spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. Humberto is very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely return.

Humberto's place was beautiful! The view was amazing, the house was very comfortable, picking fresh fruit from the greeting grounds was lovely. Roosters do crow at all hours of the night, so bring earplugs! The drive up and down the mountain can be a bit nerve-wracking but you will get the hang of it and the view is worth it.

This spot is high up in the mountains even above some clouds. Lake access is a short walk from the house where we were able to enter with our own kayaks. Humberto was quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. 100% worth waking up early in the morning for the view of the sunrise from the beautiful wrap around porch.

WOW! What a VIEW! This house was the perfect choice for my family's stay in PR. They kept telling me it was so perfect and beautiful. It's about an hour drive from San Juan up in the mountains. The roads are winding but not too bad. The weather was great and there was always a nice breeze. Humberto was always quick to respond if we had any questions. We felt at home from the time we walked in. Humberto even had a few cold beer waiting in the fridge for us to enjoy. Plus there was bottled water and a bottle of wine(nice touch). The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of sitting area. There's a Dominos table and we played Dominos and Briska till the wee hours of the morning. Great family time and fun was had at that table. The view from the balcony is amazing. Plenty of chairs and even a hammock to relaxing and enjoy the view. The weather was cool at night and it sprinkled or rained almost every day but not for too long. There were chickens running around and there's a container with cracked corn to feed them if you'd like. We really appreciated the hot water for the shower and washing dishes. A lot of places in PR do not have running hot water so this was a added bonus, especially for showering on those chilly nights. If you're looking for a genuine PR mountain experience THIS is the house to rent without a doubt. We can'twait to come back and revisit Humberto's Lake House and the spectacular view. Oh, and the route there from San Juan takes you right through the heart of the Lechoneras in Guavate, which is a true Puerto Rican cuisine experience.
