蒙蒂塞洛(Monticello) · 牧羊人小屋 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Unique Montezuma Sheep Camp nestled in the trees.
If you like camping but want to leave the gear at home, this is your place. Our unique little shepherd's hut offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience for two. During your stay you can read your favorite book or sit back and listen to the sounds of nature. At the sheep camp there is no internet or power, but don't let that discourage you. We provide amazing scenery, beautiful night skies, lighting, a gas grill, cooking supplies and your own private outdoor bathroom with a hot shower and toilet. The sheep camp is small, but cozy. The outer dimensions are 12 foot long by 6-1/2 feet wide giving you 78sq. ft. of living space inside. Because of this the bed is shorter than normal. Bed dimensions are 58" wide by 72" long.
Beautiful place in a canyon. Super friendly dogs. Decently close to arches national park and canyonland national park, about 1.5 hr. It’s a bit tricky getting there since it’s not too noticeable off the side of the road and then it’s a long drive down a dirt road on the side of a cliff basically but it wasn’t too bad
Sheila and her family was so nice and we felt so welcome. Want to visit again already!
What a wonderful experience staying at Sheep Camp! Nestled in the picturesque Montezuma Creek Canyon, the location at the Vineyards truly added a special touch to our visit. This unique spot is the perfect getaway. From start to finish, the process was seamless, providing everything we needed and more. The accommodation was both very comfortable and clean. Highlights were the area guidebook provided, which offered an awesome self-guided tour of the canyon. The serene view from the porch, where we could take in the cherry orchard and grape vineyard set against a backdrop of colorful slickrock cliffs, was absolutely breathtaking. Additionally, the small market at the vineyard was a delightful surprise, stocked with excellent jams and jellies, fresh biscuits, and spicy pickles—every bite was a treat. The communication with the hosts was outstanding—they were not only helpful but also very knowledgeable about the area, greatly enhancing our overall experience. We can’t wait to return.
It was unique and quaint and we absolutely loved how rustic yet convenient everything was! If you want a beautiful and peaceful stay that is a little bit like camping, this is the place for you. Very comfortable bed! Welcome gift of biscuits and jam was a nice treat! We loved the outdoor dining and we cooked using the gas grill! No electricity but solar was great!
We are surrounded by several national parks, forests, and monuments. Manti-La Sal National Forest (17 miles), Mesa Verde National Park (87 miles), Monument Valley (109 miles), Arches National Park (74 miles), Canyonlands National Park (49 miles), just to name a few. While staying at our cabin you can hike, mountain bike, tour the canyon on your ATV, or walk through the vineyard and orchards and pick your own fresh organic fruit when in season.
During late spring, summer and fall you can drive any vehicle into the canyon. During the winter months (December through February) 4WD or AWD is required. We are in a remote location and no public transportation is available.
