Coleen’s communication was A+ before I booked the place, after I booked and during our visit. She was always proactive and this makes everything so much easier. The house looks just like the pictures. It’s beautiful and very well appointed. This house is suitable for families or adults only. Everything is very well done and solid furniture. There is no clutter and very well decorated. Viking appliances and spacious kitchen. She did not spare any expense and you see it throughout the home. The location is central to everything you would need. Two short blocks from the beach, 5 minute walk to the town that has lots of restaurants and stores. 10min drive to Santa Barbara. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. So morning and evening strolls are magical. House has a garage that fits most cars or outside parking that is easily available. Entrance in the back and front is very private as well. A stellar visit and understand why the reviews are high - you will not regret staying here.

We had one of our best air bnb experiences with Colleen at the cottage. It was stunning, luxurious, well furnished and just a lovely place to be. I hope to be returning again sometime soon.

Coleen’s house was wonderful from the moment we arrived. Thoughtful communication and even the main lights on already really made our late night arrival so easy. Our kids really enjoyed the nook and kid sized table/chairs. The beds were so comfortable and the whole entire house was cozy. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach. We plan to be back, thank you for a great stay!

We loved our stay at The Salt Creek Cottage! The size and layout of the house was perfect for our family of 5 - the kitchen & living areas even bigger than the pictures! The house had everything we needed, and the binder of information with Coleen’s tips and recommendations was super helpful. By far the best thing about our stay (and the reason we picked this place) was the location - easily walkable to both the beach and restaurants/shops/park. Coleen was very helpful & responsive both before and during our stay. Carpinteria is a gem, and we would definitely stay at this house again!

To put it simply, I will book Coleen's Carp cozy home any time I come to the Santa Barbara area. It was clean, cozy, fully stocked, great linens, etc. Coleen was very responsive with any questions. Truly one of my favorite Airbnb experiences. Quick walk away from the beach, coffee, an organic grocery store, and lots of restaurants to choose from. Highly recommend.
