Pros: Watch Mardi Gras parade from the balcony. Rental included a golf cart (fee waived; home not available upon check-in, golf cart not available until next day). Cons: - Maintenance: backsplash tiles falling off, master bath faucet broken, shelves coming off the wall, most of the lamps are without light bulbs - Needs deep clean & dishes, coffee pot dirty - Safety/privacy issues: Front door has rim lock style of "deadbolt" , easy to pick. No lock on upstairs balcony. Front windows void of blinds or curtains, home interior visible busy roundabout. Tub step high & slick. - Bedrooms have cheap blinds & no curtains (only scarf valences) so street/city lights bright when trying to sleep - Rodents in walls and attic - Lack of proper knives. Informed host and she had more cheap tiny (2-4") knives brought over (told host we were trying to cut a pineapple..) - Nowhere to hang clothing - 1 bathroom no mirror. 2 bathrooms mirrors hung too high, useless unless over 5'4" - No towel hooks or bar

Great place along the parade route. Very walkable to near by restaurants.

Great location to watch the Mardi Gras parades. We would definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful stay at Patricia’s Place! Conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and the civic center. We had no trouble getting in touch with our host. Check in and check out were a breeze (thank you Ms. Hattie)! The rooms were spotless upon our arrival. We will definitely be staying here next time!
