Overall we were very satisfied with the stay. The living room furniture could stand being updated as it's not the most comfortable but it's not terrible. Also, the description mentions the house sleeps 8 but the one room with two pull out couches cannot be used in the summer as there is no air conditioning in the room. Checking in was frustrating as we've never had to wait until 5PM to check in somewhere and a 9AM checkout I feel is too rushed. The location was great though, easy walk to the beach (across the street) and close enough to restaurants and shopping but not so close you feel like you're in the middle of town. All in all it was a nice place with plenty of room, clean and comfortable.

The location was good, although the road is very busy. The beach access is super close. The beach is quiet compared to other places in Nags Head. The cottage is in need of updates and maintenance. The kitchen sink leaked and the tubs didn’t drain well. They advertise a beach gear credit, but it’s somewhat misleading because you still have to pay for delivery even if you don’t use the e tire credit. Overall, it was just ok.

Excellent value! Location is great. Actually 3 minutes to the beach, and you only cross one street which is relatively quiet. Plenty of parking with a basketball hoop by the driveway. Great neighborhood with a close by convenience store and a Food Lion 7 minutes down the road. Also close to Coquina Beach, Jockey Ridge Dune, and the Bodie Island Lighthouse if you’re into it. The house itself was pleasant. While the interior may be a little dated, it is kept clean and stocked with everything you’ll need for cooking. Plenty of space for my family of 6. We really liked: the outdoor shower to get the sand off, the charcoal grill, the crow’s nest, the open layout and spacious living/dining combo, and the fresh, clean linens and towels. I recommend this place for those who want close proximity to the beach at a great price with plenty of space.
