Great spot to crash if you're up for some skiing or outdoor activities. Rudy's Scar Bar and Grill is also a great option for food and drinks (and music!) on the premesis. Overall a great option in the Lake Placid/Whiteface area. We will be back!

Authentic lovely place in the middle of the Adirondacks! Allison and crew make you feel right at home and ensure every need is taken care off. Would definitely recommend!

Allison was communicative and gave us great instructions on self check in, which was appreciated. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable with cool Adirondack decor. The main sitting areas were a bit cluttered, but comfortably furnished. Loved having Rudy's Scar Bar and Grille on site. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the live music on Saturday night. The area is quiet, not walkable to "town," but a great jumping off point for hiking, skiing at Whiteface, 15 min drive to Lake Placid for summer lake/winter sport activities.

Allison’s place was clean, cozy, comfortable and well-located. Perfect for a father/son/dog end-of-summer mountain biking weekend. There is a nice residential street loop next to the hotel which was perfect for dog-walking.
