This was my 3rd stay at Birch boothy, its the perfect little get-away, nothig is to much trouble for Ross the host. Highly recommend. See you again next year Ross 😊

The location was perfect, so peaceful and quiet. We met the hosts and felt we could contact them at anytime of our stay easily, (not that we needed to) They respected our privacy. The extras supplied, food and toiletries were a lovely added bonus, and very much appreciated. We would highly reccomend this.

Stunning location; beautiful, comfortable bothy and great host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend if you are looking for peace and quiet in gorgeous surroundings. The bothy is spotless and well cared for.... and we particularly enjoyed being able to get all warm and cozy these past few chilly autumn evenings with a real log fire. Thank you!

A few peaceful days at Birch Bothy exploring the moors and country lanes south of Hexham. It's an easy run into Hexham for supplies, and there are loads of walking options in the vicinity, comfy bed, hot shower - what's not to like? The bothy is a small space, but well planned and kitted out to make it manageable for 2 guests, with a view over Ross and Katrina's charming garden and surrounding fields. We appreciated thoughtful touches like breakfast provisions when we first arrived, an OS map and home-made walks sheets showing some routes from the bothy.

Absolutely loved my weekend in Birch Bothy. The space was immaculate, with everything you could need and really appreciated the essentials being left. The area is so peaceful and has tremendous walking from literally the front door. Enjoyed a peaceful hour on the patio in the morning watching all the birds and spied herons, long tailed tits and lots of others. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Many thanks.
