This was our second time staying here. It really can’t be beat in terms of character and location. In the heart of the garden district and with a gorgeous & spooky atmosphere inside and out, this place is perfect for travelers who want to step right into colorful, eclectic, artsy, haunted history!! Adrienne is also the best—she’s got incredible recommendations and amazing stories. We are big fans!

We had such a relaxing visit in Garden District, the location is absolutely perfect. So close to Magazine St. and St. Charles streetcar, we had lots of choices that were walkable. The art collection and books were amazing. The dogs were so sweet and Adrianne was so kind and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again!

My daughter (17) and I had such a great experience with Adrienne at the Parks-Bowman Mansion! She was an amazing host, and it was fun to get to know her. Communication was excellent. We arrived after 11 pm with clear instructions on how to enter. Her dogs, Breaux and Boggs, are very friendly and sweet. We loved them! We stayed a full week in the Haunted Room which was decorated quirkily and fun. It’s a bit of a hike, getting luggage to the 3rd floor, but worth it as there is also a balcony and lots of interesting books there as well. Not going to lie. The bathroom shower was small. If you're a larger person, one of the other rooms with a larger shower might be a better option. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and just a short walk to the St. Charles Streetcar line which easily takes you to the French Quarter. You’re also a short walk in the opposite direction to Magazine Street for restaurants and shops. Unfortunately, we didn't see any ghosts but would be happy to go back!

Our stay at the Parks-Bowman Mansion was exactly what we needed. Andrienne made us feel at home instantly, almost like we were visiting family. The haunted room had good vibes and the house is filled with numerous treasures. It is a lovely and well located place in the beautiful Garden District. We will visit again!
